Millie Fleur Saves the Night Book Trailer
Millie Fleur is a children’s picture-book series written and illustrated by Christy Mandin, published by Scholastic. It follows Millie Fleur La Fae, an imaginative and delightfully unconventional young girl who embraces the odd, the spooky, and the overlooked. With a blend of whimsy, gothic charm, and botanical magic, the books follow Millie as she brings her unique perspective to the otherwise ordinary town of Garden Glen, transforming the familiar into something wondrous and unexpected.
Scholastic’s Trade Marketing team worked with Brown Bag Films to create an animated book trailer that brings Christy Mandin’s Millie Fleur world to cinematic life. The animation captures the story’s tone and message, and a custom‑composed score elevates the overall impact. The trailer helped to build excitement and awareness for the series, highlighting the newly released title Millie Fleur Saves the Night.
The book series currently includes Millie Fleur’s Poison Garden, in which Millie introduces a fantastical “poison garden” filled with strange and magical plants; Millie Fleur Saves the Night, where she creates a moonlit garden that helps the townspeople see beauty in the dark; and Millie Fleur’s Pumpkin Problem, a seasonal story featuring Millie’s extraordinary pumpkin patch. Across these books, Millie’s curious spirit and love of the unusual bring new life—and plenty of surprises—to Garden Glen.
