Time for your check-up!

A magical animated series about a six-year-old girl, Doc McStuffins, who has the ability to talk to and heal toys and stuffed animals! With the help of her stuffed animal friends, Doc runs a clinic for toys out of her playhouse. The series emphasizes the importance of lending a helping hand, or paw, when people and toys need it most.

Doc McStuffins is an animated series about a six-year-old girl who heals stuffed animals and toys in her backyard clinic. Each episode follows Doc and her stuffed animal friends Stuffy, Lambie, Hallie and Chilly as they care for and nurture a toy in need.

The series, which was created by Chris Nee (Vampirina, Ridley Jones) and directed by Norton Virgien (Rugrats, Henry Hugglemonster), highlights the importance of taking care of oneself and of others, and was developed under the consultancy of the Hollywood Health & Society division of the USC Annenberg Norman Lear Center. Doc McStuffins also showcases the hallmarks of great Disney storytelling—fantasy and wish fulfillment—and each episode features an original song.

Doc McStuffins premiered on Disney Junior on March 23, 2012 where it broke ratings records to instantly become the No1 preschool show on U.S. television and shortly thereafter, inspired a group of female African-American physicians to begin a movement they coined “We Are Doc McStuffins.” Seeing a reflection of themselves in Doc, the group grew to form the Artemis Medical Society, which boasts a membership of over 4,700 women physicians of color from around the world.

The series has since gone on to garner numerous awards including the prestigious Peabody Award for children's programming at the 74th Annual Peabody Awards in April 2015, two Kidscreen Awards and multiple NAACP Image Awards, and has been the recipient of the NAMIC Vision Award for Best Animation for three consecutive years.

The voice cast includes series regulars Kiara Muhammad, Jaden Betts, Jess Harnell, Kimberly Brooks, Lara Jill Miller and Loretta Devine. Many notable guest stars have also been featured including First Lady of the United States, Michelle Obama, Geena Davis, Patton Oswalt, Ty Burrell, Audra McDonald and several cast members from Downton Abbey, such as Joanne Froggatt and Lesley Nicol.

In a special cross-over episode with Winnie the Pooh, entitled “Into the Hundred Acre Wood!”, the gang from McStuffinsville and the Hundred Acre Wood bandy together to help none other than the world's most beloved, honey-loving bear, Winnie the Pooh! Voiced by the legendary Jim Cummings.

Brown Bag Films completed production on the fifth and final season of Doc McStuffins in 2020. The series is available to stream on Disney+.
