This animated preschool series features Daniel, a shy but brave 4-year-old tiger who lives in the Neighbourhood of Make Believe. With help from his neighbours, family and friends - O the Owl, Prince Wednesday, Katerina Kittycat, and Miss Elaina – Daniel has fun while learning the key skills necessary for school and life.
Daniel Tiger’s Neighbourhood is produced with The Fred Rogers Company for PBS KIDS, and was created by Angela Santomero, the executive producer and co-creator of Blue’s Clues, Super Why and Amazon Studio’s Creative Galaxy.
The series has won 3 Parent’s Choice Gold Honors, The Shaw Rocket Prize and a Critics Choice Award; and nominated for a 2015 and 2016 Daytime Emmy® Award.
The series stars Jake Beale, Tommy Lioutas, Heather Bambrick, Ted Dykstra, Nicholas Kaegi, Addison Holley, Amariah Faulkner, Jamie Watson, Catherine Disher, and Derek McGrath.
This modern day animated classic is based on the legacy of Fred Rogers.
