RoboGobo Season 2 Trailer

It's GO time — RoboGobo Season 2 has officially arrived, bringing even more heart, humor, and high-tech heroics to Disney Jr. and Disney+. The animated action-adventure series, which follows five adopted pets who become heroes through super-powered Robo-Suits, returns with a bigger-than-ever season packed with new transformations, new villains, and an all-star voice cast.

Colorful animated scene from RoboGobo showing a futuristic lab or garage where animal heroes gather with their high‑tech vehicles: a blue race car with glowing accents, a green turtle‑themed vehicle, an orange striped car, a sleek purple motorcycle, and a red flying vehicle.

Set once again on the vibrant, futuristic MetroPet Island, the season picks up with kid inventor Dax and his team of adopted animal heroes—Hopper, Booster, Allie, Shelly, and Wingo—whose super‑powered Robo‑Suits now come with an exciting twist. One of the biggest upgrades this season: the heroes’ suits can now transform into Robo‑Vehicles. This new ability helps Team RoboGobo tackle challenges in dynamic ways, from high‑speed chases to daring rescue missions.

Animated production still from RoboGobo featuring Captain Shrimperton standing at the helm of a whimsical wooden ship, gripping a colorful steering wheel. The shrimp captain wears a pirate-style outfit with a tricorn hat and holds a cutlass, surrounded by lush jungle foliage as the vessel glides forward.

"Season 2 of RoboGobo is bigger, faster, and more imaginative. The transformations aren’t just mechanical—they reflect growth in teamwork, creativity, and confidence."

Declan Doyle, RoboGobo Series Supervising Director

Season 2 brings back fan‑favorite baddies like Gimme Pig and The Slink, but also introduces a new villain: Captain Shrimperton, a cunning pirate prawn voiced by GRAMMY- and Tony Award-nominated Broadway star Megan Hilty (Death Becomes Her). Joining Megan Hilty this season are Tony Award winner Sutton Foster (Once Upon a Mattress) as Molly and comedian Nate Torrence (Zootopia) as Milo—sanitation worker siblings who befriend raccoon duo Risky and Royale, Team RoboGobo’s biggest fans.

The show's recurring celebrity voice cast includes Cynthia Erivo as Slink, Valerie Bertinelli as Chef Polly, Susan Kelechi Watson as Professor Millie, Dax’s mom, Dulé Hill as Dr. Vaughn, Dax’s dad, Alan Cumming as Dame Luxley, Alison Pill as Farmer Faye, Ana Gasteyer as Crabitha and John Michael Higgins as Cappuccino, the Capuchin Monkey.

Series regular voice cast features Ja’Siah Young as Dax, Brayden Morgan as Booster, Azuri Hardy Jones as Allie, Gracen Newton as Hopper, Leili Ahmadyar as Shelly and Dee Bradley Baker as Wingo.

Our Brown Bag Dublin-based Supervising Series Director on RoboGobo, Declan Doyle, had this to share about the new season:

"As Supervising Director on Robo Gobo, I can honestly say that Season 2 is where we shift the series into high gear. Last season was about discovering courage. This season is about transformation.

At the heart of it all is Dax; our resident inventor, dreamer, and all-round mechanical genius. Dax has been hard at work in the lab, and what he’s created changes everything. The Robo-Suits you thought you knew? They’ve evolved. They’re more dynamic, more versatile, and far more exciting, each one now capable of transforming into a specialised vehicle tailored to the strengths and personality of its hero.

Shelly leads the charge with her multi-function Robo-Tank—a powerhouse machine built for strength and protection. It can lift massive objects, shield her teammates, and bash through walls when the mission demands it. It’s bold, dependable, and unstoppable; just like Shelly.

Booster’s upgrade is pure adrenaline: his suit transforms into a sleek Robo-Mobile, a high-speed race car designed to chase down even the most evasive villains. Fast, agile, and packed with pursuit tech, it delivers heart-pounding action sequences that push Booster’s fearless nature to the limit.

Wingo takes to the skies in his Robo-Flyer, an advanced aircraft powered by dynamo-style supersonic engines. This transformation opens up thrilling aerial maneuvers, dogfights, and sky-bound rescues we’ve never attempted before. The scale of our action expands vertically, and Wingo owns the sky.

Hopper’s Robo-Cycle is an exhilarating futuristic motorbike loaded with gadgets and designed for dynamic mobility. True to Hopper’s nature, it doesn’t just drive—it leaps. It can hop vast distances, scale terrain, and execute daring mid-air moves that make every chase sequence feel electric.

Allie’s transformation might be the most visually striking. Her Robo-Crawler gives her the ability to scale skyscrapers, cling to vertical surfaces, and leap from building to building with feline agility. It brings a whole new dimension to urban storytelling—stealth, speed, and rooftop adventure.

And then there’s Dax. Ever resourceful, he designs and builds the Robo-Rescue—a powerful transporter vehicle capable of carrying all the new Robo-Vehicles into action. It’s practical, heroic, and full of character; the beating logistical heart of the team."

"But we didn’t stop there," said Doyle.

"Season 2 introduces our biggest suit mash-up yet: Robo-Jumbo. A colossal mega-robot formed when all the new Robo-Vehicles combine into one towering machine. It’s bold, spectacular, and delivers the kind of epic scale our audience has been waiting for. When the stakes are highest, the team unites - literally.

Beyond the upgrades, our world expands dramatically. We explore brand-new locations; from the bustling harbour area to breathtaking undersea environments, from the vibrant community garden to the cutting-edge science museum, and even a wildly fun water park.

And of course, new characters. We’re introducing a bite-sized but big-personality villain: Shrimperton; a mischievous pirate whose small stature hides oversized ambition. She’s playful, theatrical, and unpredictable; a fantastic new foil for the team.

We’ll also meet Dax’s grandfather, Grandpa Gene, whose presence deepens Dax’s backstory. At the science museum, curators Kai and Ferris bring curiosity and warmth, while Diego and Arjun add energy and perspective to our expanding community.

Season 2 of RoboGobo is bigger, faster, and more imaginative. The transformations aren’t just mechanical—they reflect growth in teamwork, creativity, and confidence.

This season, the world expands.

The vehicles roll out.

And when they combine… the adventure becomes mega."

Season 2 launched with a 10-episode marathon on February 16, 2026 on Disney Jr. and later that day on Disney Channel and Disney Jr. On Demand, followed by a streaming drop on Disney+ the following day.

Created and exec produced by Chris Gilligan, and developed by Matt Hoverman, the series is produced by Alexander Lentjes and Nayanshi Shaw, with supervising producers Gillian Higgins and Lorraine Morgan. Michael J. Smith and Declan Doyle (Get Rolling with Otis, Dee & Friends in Oz) serve as the series' supervising directors, with production services and animation provided by our teams at Brown Bag Films' Dublin and Bali studios.
