Celebrating 11 Children’s & Family Emmy® Nominations

We’re thrilled to share that our productions have earned 11 nominations at the 4th Annual Children’s & Family Emmy® Awards (CAFE)! This incredible achievement spans Scholastic Entertainment, 9 Story Media Group, and Brown Bag Films, showcasing the creativity and dedication of our teams.

Highlights include 5 nominations for RoboGobo, and multiple nods for Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood, Xavier Riddle and the Secret Museum, and Eva the Owlet. We’re especially excited that Eva the Owlet’s nominations mark the first joint recognition for Scholastic Entertainment and Brown Bag Films since joining forces last year.

Eva the Owlet – 2 Nominations

Eva the Owlet, based on the New York Times bestselling Scholastic book series Owl Diaries by award-winning author Rebecca Elliott, stars Eva, a creative, cheeky owlet who lives next door to her best friend Lucy in the woodland world of Treetopington. With big ideas and an even bigger personality, Eva goes on high-flying adventures, expressing herself in her diary along the way!

Eva the Owlet is executive produced by Scholastic Entertainment’s Peabody and Daytime Emmy Award-winning team, including Iole Lucchese (Clifford the Big Red Dog), Caitlin Friedman (Stillwater), and Jef Kaminsky (Signs of Survival). Cathal Gaffney and Darragh O’Connell of Brown Bag Films also serve as executive producers. Daytime Emmy Award nominees Annabeth Bondor-Stone (Helpsters) and Connor White (Helpsters), who developed the series for television, serve as co-executive producers, and Daytime Emmy Award nominee Damien O’Connor (Angela’s Christmas, Angela’s Christmas 2) serves as supervising director.

Produced by Scholastic Entertainment (Clifford the Big Red Dog, Goosebumps, The Magic School Bus) with animation by our Brown Bag Films Dublin studio (Doc McStuffins, Vampirina, Octonauts), Eva the Owlet also features original songs by Fitz of Fitz and the Tantrums. Voice talent includes Vivienne Rutherford (Eureka!, 9-1-1: Lone Star) as Eva, Jessica DiCicco (The Loud House, Puppy Dog Pals) as Eva’s mom, Dino Andrade (Loud House, We Baby Bears) as Eva’s dad, as well as Romy Fay (Best Foot Forward), Sascha Yurchak, Jon Olson (The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies, Pokemon: Detective Pikachu), Evie Hsu (Team Mekbots: Animal Rescue), Sarah Vattano (Uglies, Rise Up, Sing Out), Pressly James Crosby (General Hospital), and Kenna Ramsey (Rent).

Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood – 2 Nominations

This animated preschool series features Daniel, a shy but brave 4-year-old tiger who lives in the Neighborhood of Make Believe. With help from his neighbors, family, and friends – O the Owl, Prince Wednesday, Katerina Kittycat, and Miss Elaina – Daniel has fun while learning the key skills necessary for school and life.

Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood is produced by Fred Rogers Productions and 9 Story Media Group and animated by our award-winning Toronto studio. Executive producers are Angela C. Santomero, Ellen Doherty, and Vince Commisso. Supervising producers are Chris Loggins (Fred Rogers Productions) and Martin Sal.

Xavier Riddle and the Secret Museum – 2 Nominations

  • Outstanding Sound Mixing and Sound Editing for a Preschool Animated Program | Xavier Riddle and the Secret Museum, PBS Kids

Xavier Riddle and the Secret Museum follows Xavier, his sister Yadina, and their friend Brad as they travel back in time to meet real-life historical figures when they were kids. Based on the book series Ordinary People Change the World by Brad Meltzer and Christopher Eliopoulos, the series introduces kids to inspiring historical figures and the virtues that helped them succeed. Produced by 9 Story Media Group and animated by Brown Bag Films – Toronto.

RoboGobo – 5 Nominations

  • Outstanding Single Role Voice Performer | Cynthia Erivo as The Slink – RoboGobo, Disney+

  • Outstanding Voice Performer in a Preschool Program | Ana Gasteyer as Crabitha – RoboGobo, Disney+

RoboGobo features action-packed adventures, comical animal villains, and cool robotic inventions, along with preschool-friendly themes like teamwork, problem-solving, and kindness. Created and executive produced by Chris Gilligan, developed by Matt Hoverman, and produced by Brown Bag Films.   

These nominations reflect the passion, creativity, and care that every one of you brings to our work - and the impact our stories continue to have on kids and families around the world. These nominations are a testament to what we can achieve when we work together toward a shared vision.

And another massive congratulations to our entire Scholastic Entertainment family, including 9 Story Media Group, for a combined 22 nominations across all our outstanding series. Goosebumps: The Vanishing (Disney+, Hulu) received a whopping 11 nominations. The series stars David Schwimmer as Anthony Brewer, Ana Ortiz as Jen, Jayden Bartels as Cece, Sam McCarthy as Devin, Elijah M. Cooper as CJ, Galilea La Salvia as Frankie, Francesca Noel as Alex, and Stony Blyden as Trey. Produced by Sony Pictures Television, the Disney Branded Television series is available on Disney+ and Hulu. Nicholas Stoller and Rob Letterman developed Goosebumps: The Vanishing, along with showrunner Hilary Winston. All three serve as executive producers alongside Neal H. Moritz, Scholastic Entertainment’s Iole Lucchese and Caitlin Friedman, Pavun Shetty, Conor Welch, Erin O’Malley, Karl Frankenfield, and James Eagan.

We also want to extend another shout out to our fantastic production partners including Disney, Apple TV, PBS KIDS and Fred Rogers Productions on these well-deserved nominations. 

Launched in 2022, the Children’s & Family Emmy® awards represent and celebrate content in children’s and family programming categories. This year CAFE is coming to New York City, with ceremonies happening on March 1 and 2, 2026. Both events are being held at Jazz at Lincoln Center on 60th Street at Broadway.
