John Brady is a Dublin-based tech leader overseeing animation pipelines, post-production, and studio infrastructure across Brown Bag’s global sites.
John Brady brings decades of broadcast and post-production expertise to his role as SVP of Technology, driving innovation across Brown Bag’s studios in Dublin, Toronto, and Bali.
About
John started his career in television as a Broadcast Engineer in 1988 with the BBC in London, having qualified from Trinity College with a BSc in Applied Science.
He returned to Dublin in 1994 to work as Chief Engineer in Screen Scene Post Production where he stayed for over 13 years.
John moved to Windmill Lane pictures in 2007 as Technical Director of the group and managed the complete facility move and technical refit in 2009. He was also central to the development of Windmills dedicated Visual Effects facility WLVFX in 2010.
John joined Brown Bag Films’ Dublin studio in November 2017 and currently manages the Technology, CG and Post Production Departments in Dublin and Toronto helping us deliver high-quality animation efficiently to our clients all over the world.
John likes to play golf in his spare time but unfortunately feels his handicap reflects the amount of time he gets to play, which is not very often!
