About
A graduate of computer animation, James Stacey has over 24 years’ experience in the animation industry, specializing in production leadership, CG supervision, and creative storytelling.
He began his career in production for television and commercials and joined Brown Bag Films in 2006 as 3D Supervisor. Since then, he has held key roles, including Animation Director, Director of CG, and now VP of Computer Graphics Production.
In his current role, James oversees all aspects of CG production, ensuring the successful delivery of award-winning series such as Octonauts (BBC), Peter Rabbit (Nick Jr), Ada Twist, Scientist (Netflix), and Doc McStuffins (Disney). He has been instrumental in scaling the CG department and optimizing workflows to meet the ever-evolving creative and technical demands of CG animation.
