About
Daniel graduated as a civil engineer in 1984, and switched to computer graphics in 1989, working as a customer support and demonstrator for Softimage covering South East Asian region.
Since 1992, Daniel worked in several major Post Production House in Indonesia as 3D Artist, Technical Manager, Deputy General Manager, Technical Director and Management Consultant.
In 2005, Daniel moved to Batam Island-Indonesia, to work as Director of Technology, in charge of setting up a new animation studio that would create the first musical animated feature film in Indonesia.
In 2015 along with Lily Wang, Daniel founded BASE (Bali Animasi Solusi Ekakarsa), a full service animation studio in Bali.
In 2019, BASE was acquired by 9 Story Media Group and Daniel appointed as VP Production Technology and Pipeline.
Daniel is also currently an acting member of the Supervisory Board of AINAKI, Indonesian Association of Animation and Creative Industries.
