World Elephant Day is an international annual event on August 12, dedicated to the preservation and protection of the world's elephants.

“The elephant is loved, revered and respected by people and cultures around the world, yet we balance on the brink of seeing the last of this magnificent creature.” (World Elephant Day)

To celebrate these amazing animals, we have put together a playlist featuring a whole bunch of our favorite elephant moments, as well as some other elephant-related creatures!

RIDLEY JONES

Did you know that mammoths are a long extinct relative of today’s elephants? In Ridley Jones’ magical museum, the past comes to life, and when a mammoth is unfrozen, mayhem ensues!

WILD KRATTS

When the Kratt brothers activate the creature powers of the Asian elephant, they team up with the rest of the herd to protect the elephants’ habitat from being destroyed.

OCTONAUTS

In this full episode, the Octonauts team up to help an injured Elephant Seal. Even though this animal isn’t actually an elephant, its small “trunk” looks just like a real elephant! 

In this adventure, the Octonauts leave the sea and meet a herd of elephants who are on their way to the watering hole!
