On a crisp Thursday eve this September, 32 teams of animation professionals came together for the always EPIC Toronto Ball Brawl, hosted down at the Xpeerience stadium off Cherry Street.

The Ball Brawl is an annual industry charity dodgeball tournament, organized by the Youth Media Alliance and Sinking Ship Entertainment to raise funds for YMA scholarships, and foster some healthy competitive spirit between our local Toronto animation studios.

This year, Brown Bag Films sent 3 teams, with 3 very ballin’ names, to the tournament:

1. Champions *Maybe

2. Magic Ballers

3. Hot Dodge

Though none of our teams came in first, Champions *Maybe did place 3rd overall, and we helped raise $6000 to be invested in scholarships.

This year's champions were the Yowza Monstars in a final battle against the Portfolio's Killer Pandas who put a good fight to come in 2nd place!

We can’t wait to come back next year, for another shot at winning it all!
