The nominees of the 2023 Canadian Screen Awards are in and we’re over the moon to share that Let’s Go Luna! has been nominated for Best Original Music, Animation in the Television category for the episode “Dig it Daddy-O”.

Every year, the Academy of Canadian Cinema & Television honours the best of the best in Canadian Kids media at the Canadian Screen Awards - Children’s and Animation Program. Huge congratulations to composers Ari Posner, Amin Bhatia and Kris Kuzdak who have received this nomination for their excellent work on Let's Go Luna!, Season 2, Episode 25 “Dig it Daddy-O”.

Let’s Go Luna! follows the hilarious adventures of three friends Leo, a wombat from Australia; Carmen, a butterfly from Mexico; and Andy, a frog from the U.S. as they traverse the globe with their parents' traveling performance troupe, “Circo Fabuloso.” At each of the Circo’s stops, Luna the Moon guides the trio as they get to know the local region and its people. In “Dig it Daddy-O,” Andy becomes the new Prince of Beatniks in San Francisco and must find a way to live up to the title.

Let’s Go Luna! is produced by 9 Story Media Group and animated here at Brown Bag Films in our Toronto studio. The series encourages kids ages 4-7 to explore and appreciate world cultures while developing social skills. In Canada, Let’s Go Luna! airs on TVOKids and Knowledge Kids.
