The Banff World Media Festival (BANFF) has announced the winners for its annual Rockie Awards and we're thrilled to announce that Karma's World has received the award for Best Animation: Children (5 - 10) in the Children & Youth category!

The prestigious Banff World Media Festival competition celebrates excellence in global television and digital content from around the world. This year, the competition featured 148 nominations from over 45 countries including the UK, USA, Canada, Australia, France, China, Germany, Italy and Norway. Juried by an esteemed panel of 150+ senior entertainment and media professionals, the Rockie Awards presented awards in 28 categories.

Karma’s World was nominated in the Animation: Children (5-10) category, alongside industry standouts Kamp Koral: SpongeBob’s Under Years (Nickelodeon Animation Studio), LEGO Star Wars Terrifying Tales (Lucasfilm LTD, LEGO, Atomic Cartoons), Middlemost Post (Nickelodeon Animation Studio), and The Brilliant World of Tom Gates (TG Entertainment Ltd., Wild Child Animation, Black Camel Productions).

Currently streaming on Netflix, Karma's World follows 10-year-old Karma Grant, an aspiring musical artist and rapper with big talent and an even bigger heart. Smart, resilient, and deeply empathetic, Karma pours her soul into songwriting, channeling her feelings into whip-smart rhymes with passion, courage and her signature brand of humor.
