Brown Bag Films was thrilled to take part in the gradireland Graduate Careers Fair in the RDS Dublin this past September!

The gradireland Graduate Careers Fair is Ireland's largest careers fair and takes place every year in Autumn. It offers third level graduates the opportunity to meet top employers, postgraduate providers, seminar speakers and career advisors.

On Wednesday, 28th September, three fantastic members of the team in Brown Bag Films Dublin set up a stand in gradireland's Creative Hub. They were able to chat to recent graduates about the opportunities at Brown Bag Films and what a career in Animation looks like.

Our very own 2D Design Supervisor at Brown Bag Films, Lynne Guthrie joined a 'Making your mark on the Creative Industry' panel discussion during the event. She was accompanied by representatives from Boulder Media, Algorithm and Black Shamrock Studio. During the discussion, Lynne shared her inspiring journey:

“I didn't know what I wanted to do specifically after graduating but I knew it had to be film and TV. I studied Modelmaking, Design and Digital Effects, but it wasn't for me. Then I discovered Animation as a career and started studying in BCFE after a year off. It was the right choice for me, and it led me to where I am today. Don’t worry so much about getting it right, just follow the path that inspires you and enjoy the journey. You will get there!”

The Brown Bag Films team was delighted to get involved with the gradireland Careers Fair and hope it encourages graduates to chase their dream career!
