Workshop: Developing a Short Animation & Getting it Funded

Want to make short film or animation? Our own Damien O'Connor has you covered!

Damien is leading a day-long course in the Galway Film Centre on March 1st - covering everything from how to turn a short film idea into a fully financed film commission. Aimed at anyone with some knowledge of film/animation/direction who would like to know more about developing a short film.

Areas covered as part of the workshop will include Idea generation, Script writing/formatting, Storyboarding, Editing and Delivering a finished animatic.

Damien O’Connor has written and directed four award winning short films - and is already working on number 5, ANYA, due to be released later this year! With two IFTA nominations under his belt. Damien has worked on Noddy, Olivia The Pig, The Octonauts and currently on Doc McStuffins.
