We DID it! Equinox Cycle 2018 #Recap

Another year, another Equinox Cycle!

Last Saturday, September 22nd, saw over 50 cyclists travel 230km from Dublin to Galway, coast to coast. In its 8th year now - that's RIGHT, 8 years on and still going strong - the Equinox cycle has seen over 350 cyclists take on the challenge of cycling across the country in one day for Temple Street Children’s Hospital and Headway, two local Dublin charities close to our hearts.

As always, we couldn't have done it without the work of our amazing crew, comprising of employees of Brown Bag and friends of the cycle, who either cycled, helped out, sponsored, rode a motor bike, drove a Garda car, made a sandwich, baked a flapjack, helped a cyclist, fixed a bike, drove a van, offered the cyclists somewhere to stop for a break, took a picture, posted some social media or designed some kit!

All have become part of a charity cycle that has raised over €160,000 in its last 8 years. This year alone the cycle is already very close to €20K with weeks of fundraising yet to come in. It's looking likely to be the Equinox Cycle's biggest fundraising to date!

A massive thanks to all who took part last Saturday!  And for anyone who’d like more information or to donate, please visit equinoxcycle.com.

Until next year, safe cycling :)
