Towers and Tales 2016 #Festival

Mark this in your diaries - as you'll want to be sure to check out the Towers and Tales Lismore Story Festival coming up Saturday April 23rd!

There's a cracking line-up of best selling and well-known children’s writers and illustrators, including our own Niamh Sharkey, creator of Henry Hugglemonster!

It's due to be a great event for the whole family, with a hosted series of readings, and workshops including Book Babies with Niamh Sharkey and Sarah Webb, where you and your little ones can join in the giant Baby-Doodle, listen to rhymes and stories from Sarah’s book, Sally Go Round The Stars and Niamh’s Hugglewug books and an Animate Your Town workshop with our Henry Hugglemonster director Norton Virgien, and various events throughout the day, including a Dungeon Doodle, a Writing Masterclass, costumed characters and pop-up story readings!

Check out the Programme for a full list of the events!

'Towers and Tales’ is an independent initiative run in partnership with Lismore Castle, The Lismore Heritage Centre, The Red Hall, Lismore Castle Arts and Waterford County Library.
