Brown Bag Films' Managing Director and Co-Founder, Cathal Gaffney, was on RTE Radio 1's The Business show with Richard Curran, talking about the evolution of Brown Bag Films, the business of animation and his own personal journey through the animation industry over the last 3 decades.

Reflecting on his own path into the world of animation, having started out as an animator after spending his school days doodling in his textbook margins, to co-founding a business with his college classmate Darragh O'Connell, Cathal commented on how he would love to see more kids encouraged into exploring the creative spaces and the opportunities within the Irish creative sector.

“I think a lot of parents who have creative kids would be more inclined to see them go to business school. I think there are wonderful opportunities in the creative economy. Ireland excels in creativity, it's one of our great selling points as a nation.”
