Smithfield Tower Abseil for The Ronald McDonald House

Today, Friday the 29th of October, The Ronald McDonald House (RMHC) is hosting the first ever abseil from the Generator’s Skyview Tower!

Towering above the skyline at 190 feet, this iconic Dublin landmark sees 100 courageous volunteers descend into Smithfield Square this Halloween. 244 winding steps await each volunteer before they take the plunge! This sounds more than aptly scary for the Halloween season, right? We sure think so! Our Dublin studio Charity Committee is helping to fundraise for this RMHC event and our very own (incredibly brave) QC Operator Bryan McDaid is taking the plunge for this great cause today!

We are delighted to have raised over €1K so far for this excellent cause which provides accommodation and support to families of sick children in hospital.

RMHC enables families to stay close to their child for as long as they are undergoing treatment in CHI at Crumlin. At The Ronald McDonald House Ireland they help families to face the weight of their child’s illness together. Families staying with RMHC do not worry about where they’ll be sleeping that night, their next meal, where to park the car and general day to day living we take for granted when are at home.
