Today, Tuesday, 2 November is el Día de los Muertos or the Day of the Dead, as translated in English!

Want to learn more about this fascinating holiday? The Day of the Dead is a celebration of life and death which originated in Mexico, and sees people coming together to celebrate with costumes, treats and skeleton masks! While the holiday started in Mexico, it is celebrated all over Latin America with colorful calaveras (skulls) and calacas (skeletons).

At each of the Circo’s stops, their trusted guide Luna the moon, leads Leo, Carmen and Andy as they experience the local language, music and daily life of the world around them.

In this episode, Luna’s friends Andy, Leo, and Carmen are in Carmen's home town of Mexico City for El Día de Los Muertos! Carmen is asked to perform at the Day of the Dead festival and must overcome her fear of skeletons. Follow Luna and friends as they learn about this holiday that celebrates the lives of loved ones who have passed.
