A new Imagineering era of fun needs a whole star-talent cast! Come meet the awesome voices behind the characters in this special cast featurette for Eureka!, our brand-new preschool series with Disney Junior now playing on Disney Junior and streaming on Disney+ USA and DisneyNOW. 

Eureka! follows the adventures of a young girl inventor whose inventions are moving her prehistoric world into the modern era. With her supportive parents, friends, and pet mammoth Murphy by her side, Eureka goes on some wild adventures as she works to make her world a better place. 

This cast featurette highlights some of the incredible talent that makes Eureka! such a wonderful, inventive show. We get to hear from cast members Ruth Righi (Sydney to the Max) who stars as Eureka, Renée Elise Goldsberry (Hamilton) and Lil Rel Howery (Free Guy) who voice Eureka's parents, and Javier Muñoz who voices the schoolteacher, Ohm, as they give viewers an inside look at their characters on Eureka!

We also hear from show co-creators and executive producers, Norton Virgien (Doc McStuffins), and Niamh Sharkey (Henry Hugglemonster), alongside Erica Rothschild (Sofia the First) who developed the series with Virgien and Sharkey and serves as co-executive producer and story editor.

Virgien notes how hard the Eureka! team worked to put this cast together, expressing how they were “super lucky… with the talent who ended up wanting to work on Eureka!” Sharkey agrees, citing Eureka! star Ruth Righi as an actress who “totally nailed who the character was” with a ton of “bursting enthusiasm.” 

The cast members for Eureka! have a ton of positive praise for the series, referencing how it is bringing diverse representation to the world of kids' television. 'Hamilton' star Renée Elise Goldsberry gives an insight into why she loves playing the role of Eureka's mom.

“What I love so much about Eureka is her inventor spirit and that she looks like my daughter in some ways. She represents the diversity in the world that we don’t see as much as we should.”

Ruth Righi, the talented voice behind Eureka herself, praised Eureka as an imaginative character who sees things in a new way.

Lil Rel Howery, who voices Eureka's dad Rollo, expressed his excitement for the series and what he thinks audiences will take from it.

“I’m very excited for all the young people to watch this show and just families in general. You’re going to learn a lot, you’re going to laugh a lot, you’re going to smile. I hope that y’all hug at the end just like we do in the episode.”

Eureka! has provided an amazing opportunity to bring more representation onto the big screen, inspiring kids everywhere that no matter who they are, they can think up their own unique, big ideas and take on the world with confidence.
