For this year's Summer Party our Manchester studio took a trip in their time-travelling, flux capacitor fueled, Dolorean, all the way back to the ’80s!

There is nothing we love more than getting into character, which in this case, included a lot of crazy eyeshadow, layers of hairspray and some good old neon-coloured jewellery.

The winner of our costume competition went to our Lead Animator Regan Greenwood, who won a hand-designed denim jacket. She rocked her way to first place with a mullet and some very bold leggings.

Light it up! Our centerpiece was a retro dance floor, as well as neon lights, glow bands, and neon balloons.

Take some inspiration from our Lead Designer Jamie Buchanan and Comp Supervisor Tim Bentley and team up to recreate characters from your favourite 80’s movie.

Props, Props, Props…

Strike a pose and practice your dance moves, nothing says 80’s like a few power poses.

Make a statement with some striking eyewear.

Don’t forget some 80’s nostalgia, we went with some mini rubix cubes.

Add some sparkle, all parties need a glitter station.

If you don’t know what to wear you can always steal someone else's idea!
