Remember spending your weekend mornings catching up on every cartoon you could? Every Saturday morning we're throwing back to some of the classic cartoons that inspired us.

This weeks classic comes with thanks to Disney - who have just released all 78 episodes of GARGOYLES to the Disney Shows YouTube channel (US).

Gargoyles, created by Greg Weisman and written by Michael Reaves, Brynne Chandler Reaves and Steve Perry, is a Disney animated series that aired from 1994-1997 - the era that also gave us the Batman and X-Men animated series. Following a group of gargoyles, made of stone in daylight but come to life at night, that have been reloacted to New York and must adjust to their new world.

Gargoyles is a cult classic and features some great voice cast surprises, including many of the Star Trek: The Next Generation cast: Marina Sirtis (Deanna Troi) and Jonathan Frakes (William Riker), Michael Dorn (Worf), Brent Spiner (Data) and Colm Meaney (Miles O’Brien).

“We are defenders of the night. We are gargoyles.” You couldn't ask for more!
