Disney Branded Television has unveiled a slate of new and returning animated content for Disney+, Disney Jr., and Disney Channel ahead of its showcase at this year's Annecy International Animation Film Festival.
“Annecy is the perfect backdrop to showcase the creative ambition and global strength of our kids' animation slate. From bold new originals like ‘Sam Witch' to fresh seasons of beloved hits like ‘Marvel's Spidey and his Amazing Friends' and ‘SuperKitties' to our growing lineup of original shorts, we're building a strong lineup anchored by the world's most beloved characters and designed for how kids watch today.”

“Sam Witch” Leads New Originals
We're excited to see that leading the pack of greenlit titles is our new animated series in association with Disney Jr., “Sam Witch,” from creator/exec producer Mia Resella, alongside co-exec producer Norton Virgien (“Doc McStuffins”, “Eureka!”).
Aimed at preschoolers, the series follows the adventures of Sam, a young girl learning the ropes of witchcraft with the help of her magical pets and a supportive community. With its inclusive themes and whimsical tone, “Sam Witch” aims to cast a spell over families when it launches on Disney Jr. and Disney+.

Disney Unwraps “Dasher”—An Original Holiday Special
Another standout among the fresh offerings on Disney's slate is our upcoming CG-animated holiday special, “Dasher,” based on Matt Tavares’ New York Times bestselling picture book, “Dasher: How a Brave Little Doe Changed Christmas Forever.”
Brown Bag Films' Damien O’Connor (“Angela's Christmas”, “Eva the Owlet”) serves as writer and director for the special, with Trustbridge Entertainment's Bob Higgins (“Danger Mouse 2015”, “Dino Ranch”), Kim Howitt, and 9 Story's Natalie Osborne and Alix Wiseman serving as Executive Producers.
Produced by Trustbridge Entertainment and 9 Story Media Group and Brown Bag Films in association with Disney Branded Television, the special follows the origin story of one of Santa’s most iconic reindeers and is expected to debut in the 2026 holiday season.

“RoboGobo” Returns With Season 2
Disney is doubling down on some of its most-watched franchises, and we're delighted to see “RoboGobo” returning for a second season. The series which launched on Disney Junior in January this year, follows a team of rescue pets in high-tech suits, and features a star-studded voice cast including Cynthia Erivo, Alan Cumming and Susan Kelechi Watson.
Created and exec produced by Chris Gilligan, and developed by Matt Hoverman, the series is produced by Alexander Lentjes and Nayanshi Shaw, with supervising producers Gillian Higgins and Lorraine Morgan. Michael J. Smith and Declan Doyle (Get Rolling with Otis, Dee & Friends in Oz) serve as the series' supervising directors, with production services and animation provided by our teams at Brown Bag Films.
