Creative England, the Government-backed funding and support organisation for English film, game and digital media companies have just released their report revealing the 50 most creative companies in England for 2016.

Chosen by a panel of industry experts, the CE50 for 2016 includes a wide selection of the country’s best creatives: all the way from filmmakers and production companies to marketing software firms and independent games studios.

And we are delighted to have our Manchester studio featured on the list!

The report was launched at Creative England's flagship event, 'Creative England Live 2016: Catalyse' attended by our Manchester Studio Manager Sarah McQuire and Producer Emma Fernando.

Sarah McQuire, Studio Manager of Brown Bag Films UK said,

“The last 12 months have been momentous for Brown Bag Films UK. We are extremely proud of everything we have achieved so far and look forward to an exciting future, producing world class animation.”

The report and event follows recent statistics showing the creative economy has had its most successful year to date with an increase of nearly 10% in GVA and a rise in jobs of 2.6%.

Brown Bag Films Manchester are currently in production on a 2D series for Nickelodeon and are recruiting for a number of production and animation roles. Check out our Jobs page for details on how to apply!
