If you haven’t gotten your ticket for Manchester Animation Festival, what are you waiting for!
You may be unaware but this year MAF, Manchester’s very own Animation Festival, will be celebrating its 5th year running from the 10th-14th November. The festival returns with an extended 5-day format, which will be hosted at HOME cinema who are renowned for showcasing independent films and exhibiting art.
MAF is the UK’s largest Animation Festival and as our trademark clearly states WE LOVE ANIMATION! Our UK studio is delighted to declare that they are the official industry sponsor for 2019. They are eager to attend and represent Brown Bag Films and will be hosting special events and panel discussions as well as giving out exclusive Brown Bag goodies. Our recruitment team will also be present to discuss career opportunities.
As well as sponsoring the event Brown Bag Films UK was commissioned to create bespoke artwork to celebrate the festival and Manchester. Tradigital artist Frida Ramirez created this iconic design!
If you are a fellow Mancunian, you will recognise the iconic red brick buildings and canals that make up the Manchester city landscape as well as the Bee Girl character who showcases Manchester's famous symbol of the worker bee.
“Animation brought me to Manchester and Manchester brought me to good people, great friends, lovely sights and a lot of inspiration. I made this design as a tribute to a city that is so special that it deserves a huge celebration!”
—Frida Ramirez, Tradigtal Artist, Brown Bag Films Manchester
