Our Brown Bag gang donned their snazzy threads and ventured off to the BAFTA Children's Awards yesterday, Sunday 25 November at the Roundhouse in London. This year Brown Bag Films saw four productions nominated for BAFTA Children's Awards - Vampirina, Doc McStuffins, The Stinky and Dirty Show and Octonauts!

Vampirina, Doc McStuffins and The Stinky and Dirty Show were all nominated for International Pre-school alongside Amazon Studios and Bix Pix Entertainment's Tumble Leaf and Octonauts was nominated for Pre-school: Animation, up against Clangers, Hey Duggee and Sarah & Duck.

Sadly, we did not bring back the coveted trophy this year but we did borrow one for a few obligatory selfies!

And we were honoured to be nominated in such good company. Huge congrats to Hey Duggee (Grant Orchard, Janine Voong, Sander Jones – Studio AKA/CBeebies) who were awarded for Preschool and to Tumble Leaf (Kelli Bixler, Drew Hodges - Amazon Studios and Bix Pix Entertainment/Prime Video) who were awarded for International Pre-school!

Thanks to everyone at the BAFTAs for organising a fun-filled night with plenty of dancing and merriment for all. We hope to swing back again for another go at the title next year and of course, more dancing…always dancing!
