Today's Staff Pick, “An Object at Rest”, follows the life of a stone over the course of a millennium. You might expect a still and peaceful story, but when the stone has to face one of nature's greatest obstacles—human civilization—things get a wee bit rocky!

This film does a beautiful job of telling its story using no words, only stunning animation, and thoughtful sound design, it also shares a fantastic approach to dealing with immense and wildly varying scales of time and size.
