This week's #FanArt comes from our Dublin studio, Senior Storyboard Revisionist, Irene Martini! We were really blown away by her version of 'Spidersona Irene' and caught up with her to chat about her inspiration.

Irene: I did this fan art right after the movie 'Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse' came out, having gotten really inspired by its dynamic and fresh style. Definitely my favourite superhero movie made so far.

I wanted to celebrate it with a little fan art representing my own persona in that universe. The technique is inspired by the amazing art of Alberto Mielgo, who art directed the movie.

I used Photoshop from sketch to the final composition, playing with textures and dotted brushes. I also added the blurriness to give it a spinning feeling.
