Brown Bag Dublin CG Generalist Darko Mitev has captured some winter magic in today's #sketch!
Darko: This piece was a quick speed sculpt I did during a weekend last winter.
It was snowing outside, freezing, and my desk was conveniently placed next to the window where I could see the snowfall. So I thought of doing a quick character study with a winter theme.
After I finished the sculpt that took about an hour and 45 minutes to do, I decided to take it further and do the proper topology and textures and hair and by the end of the day it was all done and rendered.
I used Maya, ZBrush, Substance Painter, Photoshop, Xgen and Redshift.
It was a one day project and it ended up as a 3D print that now sits proudly on my desk in the studio!
