Our Manchester studio has entered the Manchester Duck Race!
What's the Manchester Duck Race you ask? Only a quacker of a day in which individuals, teams and workplaces compete in a race of epic proportions while raising funds for Brainwave!
Brainwave is a charity based in the heart of Manchester & Salford that exists to help children with disabilities and additional needs to achieve greater independence by aiming to improve mobility, communication skills and learning potential through a range of educational and physical therapies. The children Brainwave work with have a range of conditions including autism, brain injuries such as cerebral palsy and genetic disorders such as Down’s syndrome.
This year marks the 10th Annual major fundraiser for Brainwave and we've got not one but two entries for the coveted Best Dressed Duck Competition!
Designed and decorated by our Brown Bag Manchester Editor Sam Smith, check out this furry entry in honour of her schnauzer Pete!
And incorporating our love of a good pun, designed and decorated by our Brown Bag Manchester Background Artist James Chapman we've got our very own Drake!
The Best Dressed Duck Competition will begin on Facebook on Friday, 12th April with a prize awarded to the company whose duck receives the most Likes!
So please keep your eyes peeled for us and spread the word :)
The Manchester Duck Race takes place on Friday, 19th April at 11 am and promises to be a fun day out for all the family!
