This week's #TopTip comes from Lead Animator John Kennedy - for animators using Maya:
Don’t obsess over the Graph Editor. Remember no one will ever see how smooth your curves are. Of course you’ll have to ease in/out of poses and generally spline your animation, just don’t get lost in the curve editor for hours when that time could be better spent refining your animation in viewport.
So spend most of your time in the viewport, it’s what the audience will see at the end of the day.
Everyone loves a smooth curve but if it looks great in the viewport, job done!
