Into animation? Here's a #toptip from the studio via our Lead Animator John Kennedy - this ones for animators.

John: When animating a “take” the character shouldn’t just go from neutral to reacting to something surprising.

There are 4 stages: Perception>Cognition>Emotion>Reaction.

We need to feel the characters thought process before any broader movements.
