Martin: This sketch was inspired by watching a newspaper vendor snugly sitting in his hut on O'Connell Street, Dublin, during a sudden downpour on a typical summer's day.

I wanted to remove all traces of summer from the image, so the colours are almost non-existent.

Although it's an entirely digital sketch, I tried to use more traditional textures like washes and inks.
