Roots: A Travelogue Comic by Tara Abbamondi is a Kickstarter project that has recently begun and needs your support!

Tara is an independent comic artist from New Jersey who has several wonderful comic projects under her belt, such as Puddles and In Your Wake.

But this one is slightly different – it’s a journey of discovering her roots and family history right here in Ireland. She plans to travel around the whole country, producing a 100-page comic to document and share her experiences along the way, which the funds will go towards publishing.

The project rewards are great, from a personalised post-card to physical copies of the comic itself, or even personalised artwork!
