Ever wonder what might happen to robots in the future? Well, the first batch of graduate students from Ballyfermot College's VFX & 3D Technology diploma course have and they've utilized their course skills to explore it with their short film ‘Robots Need Not Apply’.

The short, which is a blend of live-action and CG animation, depicts a world in which robots have been sidelined from their intended purposes as humans return to their previously unwanted jobs out of boredom and unfulfillment. A funny and irreverent take on the future role of robots, you'll catch some cute robot/pop-culture references. We even caught a little tongue-in-cheek wink to Brown Bag, see if you can spot it ;)
