One, two, punch! We've got a special treat for you today in the form of a staff made short from our Manchester based Episodic Director Mick Harrison, created in collaboration with his pal Adam Barton as part of his Year 3 Career Development Project for which he completed the Sound Design. We asked Mick to explain in his own wacky words how it all came about:

Mick: Well now, the animation took me about 2 days to fettle but the sentiment behind it took around 23 years to hone. It's a symbol of rebuffery, we've all been rebuffed on one occasion or another haven't we? There's always another one in the post and the best spot to soak up such impacts, I've found, is the face. The face is the most visible of a humans many soft spots and as such is a great area to land blows both physical and metaphoric.

We wear it all on the face, chuckles and clumps in equal measure… if all that sounds contrived then perhaps the Brucie Bonus at the end is more your cup of asphalt.
