The BBC have greenlit a fourth season of Octonauts, going into production now and due to be aired in 2015.

That means a whopping 24 new episodes and 2 new specials!

We're delighted to be working with Silvergate Media and the BBC on the Octonauts series. Such a SUPER hit that it is now airing in more than 100 territories worldwide.

And it gets better - a live stage show, led by Fiery Light, launches later this year!

Speaking at the announcement last week Geraint Marsh, the senior VP of Global TV Distribution and Consumer Products of Silvergate Media, said that “our creative team, along with Brown Bag Films, are working on some fantastic new adventures which stay true to the core Octonauts values of fast-paced adventure mixed with solid science curriculum and we’re really looking forward to sharing them with CBeebies viewers.”

Kay Benbow, the controller of CBeebies, quoted Captain Barnacles, “when a new series was discussed our reaction was immediate—as Captain Barnacles would say, 'Let’s do this thing!'”
