This week's #FanArt comes from our Manchester-based Lead Designer, Jamie Buchanan and is inspired by Mancunian icons Liam and Noel Gallagher!

Jamie: I moved to Manchester 6 years ago and I finally cracked and started listening to Oasis non-stop the past few months.

This illustration came about after several failed attempts at drawing the Gallagher brothers. They always looked so easy to caricature but this somehow made it more difficult. I eventually managed to get a pose that I was happy with to portray Liam Gallagher's uncomfortable looking stance.

To fill up the space around them in the background, I drew in some bottles and cigarettes as reference to their song 'Cigarettes & Alcohol', a Man City scarf as they have made it clear that's who they support and top left a bit of sunshine… because the way Liam says 'sunshine' in a few songs is amusing.
