Have you heard the good news? Our brand-new series Rosie’s Rules is now playing on PBS KIDS!
This exciting new series follows the adventures of Rosie Fuentes, a 5-year-old Mexican American girl. When she has a question that she can’t let go of she looks for the answers, sharing the “rules” about life she learns along the way with viewers. She does all of this with her blended, multicultural family by her side, teaching kids how to navigate their world. This is a series from 9 Story Media Group, animated by the amazing team at Brown Bag Films.
The launch of this series also saw other exciting content debut on the PBS KIDS website. Rosie’s Rules has put out two incredible games, Slime Store and Riding with Rosie, along with some wow-mazing printable activity sheets, introducing kids to the world of Rosie’s Rules.
These games and activities are a ton of fun, picking up on many of the same themes found throughout the Rosie’s Rules series.
In the game Slime Store, players get to help Rosie run her own slime shop, making their own slime, filling orders for customers, and shopping for supplies at Javi’s supply shop. Through play kids will get to learn about supply and demand, creativity, and economics.
In Riding with Rosie, players get to drive different vehicles, exploring Rosie’s neighborhood by completing tasks. From picking up and dropping off recycling to driving the local bus, kids will get to play and learn about neighborhood services, and the different jobs it takes to support their own communities.
Along with these two great games, Rosie’s Rules also has new printable activities available online. There are coloring pages for the series main lineup of characters including Rosie, her Mama and Papá, Javi, Iggy, Abuela, and more. There are also other activity pages, including a connect the dots page and a fun cake-decorating activity. You can click here to explore them further and print them all.
We hope all the Rosie’s Rules fans out there will love exploring these fun games and activities online! It’s all available on PBSKIDS.org on the Rosie’s Rules page.
