Henry Hugglemonster creator Niamh Sharkey has been Laureate na NÓg (Ireland's Laureate for children's literature) since May 2012 - and as her tenure comes to an end you have the chance to vote who takes up the role next.

For the first time ever you can vote on the 2014 - 2016 Children's Laureate - following in Niamh's footsteps! But don't take too long to decide - nominations close on February 15 2014.

Niamh has had an incredibly busy two years, with a litany of projects, including events like Illustrators Inc., Drawn In, Swapping Stories and the international exhibition Pictúir, celebrating Irish children's book illustration.

(I wonder if it's against the rules to nominate Niamh again?!)
