The Gunpowder treason and plot;

Stephen: As an artist sometimes you want to paint but don’t know what… Occasionally if looking for a subject I go to Wikipedia and look up “On this day” in the history section. After scrolling down the list, I had seen The Gunpowder Plot and thought it was a great story. It captured my imagination, so I used that subject as a speedpainting exercise and it took 2 hours. A quick study of light forms and mood.
