It’s that time of the year when we start gearing up for our annual Equinox Charity Cycle - a cycle from Ireland’s coast to coast and from dawn to dusk in aid of Headway and Temple Street Children’s Hospital!
Over the past 6 years the cycle has raised €120,000 for our chosen beneficiaries. Having been to Salthill, Strandhill, Kinvara, Youghal, Westport and Bundoran, this year the cycle will be heading back to the sunny south east, to Dungarvan, Waterford from Clontarf, Dublin for a total cycle of just over 210km.
The cycle is open to over 18's and there will be scheduled stops along the way for food, drink and rest. This year the Equinox Charity Cycle are asking that each participant raise a minimum of €200 each with 100% of the funds going to charities - Headway and Temple Street Children's Hospital.

Headway is an organisation that helps to bring positive change in the lives of those affected by Acquired Brain Injury. It is estimated that Acquired Brain Injury is a condition affecting up to 30,000 people living in Ireland between the ages of 16-65. Brain injury is the foremost cause of death and disability in young people.
Temple Street Children’s Hospital is the first port of call for tens of thousands of children every year suffering from every kind of illness and injury imaginable. Their aim is to help sick children by making their stay in hospital less distressing for them and their families, by funding the purchase of medical equipment, developing new services, funding research and developing new treatment facilities.
