Into animation? Here's a #toptip from the studio via our hilariously comical, Manchester-based Episodic Director Mick Harrison - this one's on drawing things with direction in mind.
Mick Harrison: When drawing I often employ the use of direction, sometimes it leads the eye to the correct spot, sometimes I end up in a different room.
Either way, something happens, there is nothing worse in a drawing than something that doesn't happen. That something can come in many forms, like a wisp of smoke leading the eye to some celestial body of light, or the smell of paint, which is an invisible direction and a challenge in itself.
Happy drawing to you all!
