The National Association for Multi-ethnicity in Communications (NAMIC) have announced the winners of the 2016 NAMIC Vision Awards and we're delighted to announce that Doc McStuffins has won Best Animation!

The award marks Doc McStuffins' third consecutive NAMIC Vision award win in the Animation category!

The NAMIC awards recognise achievements in multiethnic and cross-cultural television programming.

Judged by a 'distinguished panel of entertainment industry executives', the winners are chosen for overall imagery (creative merit, originality, and presentation quality), sensitivity (the consideration given to cultural nuances), writing (the depiction of issues relevant to people of color) and the quality of acting in the performance categories.
