Great news! Our Dublin-based Director Dan Nosella is providing a 2-day Visual Storytelling Skills for Animation Storyboard Artists course via Screen Skills Ireland aimed at artists who wish to develop or enhance their animation storyboarding skills.
This 2-day intensive course which starts on Saturday, March 2nd will provide participants with the principles of visual storytelling and outline how these principles apply to storyboard for animation. Through a series of demonstrations and useful examples, this course will give participants an overview of the basics of the following:
Storytelling:
- Character
- Structure
- Point of View
Staging:
- Composition
- Camera
Pacing:
- Timing
- Shot Selection
Posing/Acting
In addition to these topics, the course will introduce the technical aspects that affect storyboarding and the production pipeline.
