Great news! On Saturday, February 23rd, Screen Skills Ireland will be offering An Introduction to Nuke Compositing one day course. This is aimed at new Nuke users who have some compositing experience (i.e. Photoshop, After Effects, etc.) and those who have used Nuke for slap comps but want to advance their knowledge.

Participants will learn an overview of node-based compositing in Nuke and be introduced to its base rules and best practice, which informs users on how to build comps efficiently as a member of a larger team. The course also covers how to build comps which scale as task size and complexity increases.

- Standard nodes & the fundamentals of Nuke compositing

- Core principles

- Best practices

- Typical comp workflows

- Advanced comp examples
