TAAFI Film Festival is back this year with an exciting animated in-person event at Hot Docs Cinema! The festival, which kicked-off online on February 13, runs until February 18, and hosts three+ cartoony-packed days celebrating over 100 animated films and their creators. The online portion of the event, taking place via Eventive, extends until Thursday, February 15, with a nightly animated feature, at which point the festival pivots to the In-Person portion running from February 16-18 at Hot Docs Cinema.

Along with all the animation film festival goodness, we are also thrilled to share that members of our Toronto team will be participating in a Brown Bag Films Studio Spotlight, ONLINE, at this year's TAAFI Film Festival, on Friday, February 17, from 9:00am to 10:15am. The panel features a Behind the Scenes look at our new series Rosie’s Rules with Cory Bobiak, Creative Director (Toronto), Heejung Yun, Series Director, Charley Thomas, Senior Series Producer and Jordan England, Series Art Director. Moderated by Series Line Producer, Natali Topalovska.

Join the talented teams from Brown Bag Films Toronto and 9 Story Media Group as they walk us through how they brought the brand-new PBS Kids series Rosie’s Rules to life. The session will include an overview of the production process for the show across Development, Directing and Production; a screening of one of the episodes; and a Q&A moderated by Series Line Producer Natali Topalovska featuring Cory Bobiak (Creative Director, Toronto), Heejung Yun (Series Director), Jordan England (Series Art Director) and Charley Thomas (Senior Series Producer).
