There's a new fundraiser coming to town! The Brown Bag Films Dublin studio duo, Rossa Lundberg and Laura Allen, who brought us last year's Animation Come Dancing charity fundraiser event are now preparing to bring us a new stage delight — Animation Got Talent!
Animation Got Talent is taking place on Friday, 7th March 2025 at The Sugar Club from 7pm till late, and sees people from the animation industry, alongside friends and collaborators, take to the stage to show off their weird and wonderful hidden talents. We're expecting another fantastic night with lots of entertainment, and the chance to enjoy even more creative talent from our artistic colleagues, and all in aid of raising funds for two great local causes: Helium Arts and Cancer fund For Children

Helium Arts is a national charity empowering children aged 6-16 living with lifelong physical health conditions through free art workshops. These workshops take place in local communities, hospital waiting rooms, and online, offering a fun, inclusive space where children can build confidence, meet new friends, and explore their creativity with professional artists. In 2024, Helium Arts reached over 5,000 young people across Ireland, bringing moments of joy and connection that significantly improved their mood and well-being. With workshops in Cork, Dublin, Galway, Limerick, Mallow, Ennis, Nenagh, and more locations being added this year, as well as an online programme, Helium Arts ensures that every child in Ireland can be inspired by the transformative power of art and creativity. Find out more at Helium Arts, the national children's arts and health charity.
Cancer Fund for Children are an all-island charity providing emotional, social and therapeutic support to children living with cancer, as well as their parents and siblings. Each week, across the island of Ireland, up to 10 children and young people (aged 0-24) are diagnosed with cancer. Cancer Fund for Children understands the devastating impact this diagnosis can have on the whole family, and that beyond essential medical care, many families need social and emotional support. Their dedicated team of Cancer Support Specialists deliver flexible and personalised support to young people and their families. This can take place at home, in hospital, in the community and at our short-break therapeutic centre, Daisy Lodge in Co. Down. Plans are also underway for a second Daisy Lodge centre on the shores of Lough Corrib in Cong, Co. Mayo, due to the increasing demands for their services. Find out more at cancerfundforchildren.com
