The Animation Dingle Festival is back on March 15!

Hosted by the Dingle International Film Festival and JAM Media the festival includes the first screening of Brown Bag Films' short The Battle of Ravenwind, created with kids from Fighting Words, and the presentation of The Murakami Award, named in honour of Jimmy T. Murakami, to Richie Baneham.

Other festival highlights include a presentation from Tomm Moore, a selection of works from The Irish School of Animation and the 2014 Young Animator of the Year (YA-O-TY) award. The YA-O-TY is open to Transition Year students and the winner is offered a work placement at JAM Media and an award designed by Dingle Jeweller, Brian de Staic.

All that, and it is in one of the most idyllic locations in Ireland.
