43rd Annie Award Winners





Alas, this year's Annie Awards didn't see us coming home with the coveted trophy but we did have a great time at the ceremony!

Peter Rabbit was nominated for awards in two categories - Best Animated Television/Broadcast Production For Preschool Children category and for Outstanding Achievement, Character Animation in an Animated Television/Broadcast Production for episode 216 'The Kitten and Pig Adventure'.

Big congrats to Tumble Leaf on their win for Best Animated Television/Broadcast Production For Preschool Children and to Dragons: Race to the Edge on their win for Outstanding Achievement, Character Animation in an Animated TV/Broadcast Production for their “Have Dragon Will Travel, Part 1” episode for characters Heather, Windshear, Dagur, Savage, Hiccup, Toothless, Berserkers.

Other big winners on the night include Pixar's Inside Out in the Best Animated Feature category, Don Hertzfeldt's World of Tomorrow in the Best Animated Short Subject category and Filme de Papel's Boy and the World in the Best Animated Feature-Independent category!
